Graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Emphasis in Bilingual Ministries & Cross-Cultural Studies and a Masters of Divinity Studies from Andrews Theological Seminary.
Pastor Amado has over 27 years of ministerial experience, serving alongside his lovely wife Jane in many congregations both in the Northern and Southern States.
He is originally from Havana Cuba, growing up in New York City, he came to know and accept the Lord at the age of 13 through intervention of the Holy Spirit.
Through a Bible he found that had been thrown away, the Holy Spirit stirred conviction in his mind as he read its Holy writings. By the transforming love of God's son, he became passionate for the word & its proclamation. Called by the Lord to serve and upon completing his degree, he immediately commenced his passion in pastoral ministry.
Amado met his lovely wife Jane in college. She is originally from Buffalo, New York. They have been blessed with 32 years of marriage and she has served alongside him in assisting in various ministries. The Lord's favor shined upon them granting two wonderful sons. Amado Vincent (deceased) who rests in the blessed hope of the resurrection and his younger brother, Joshua Michael Luzbet. Joshua who is married to Demri and they have a vivacious son named Dawson. On 2021, Joshua and Demri welcomed their 2nd child, Mabel Jane, a first granddaughter for Amado and Jane.
Amado and Jane love the diversity and beauty of various cultures and people groups. They enjoy the outdoors, including hiking, camping, traveling, and getting to meet God's beautiful creation all around. It is their joy and passion to witness people come to know, grow, and experience Jesus in a lifetime of service.
